Earls Court Exhibition Centre

The original Earls Court Exhibition Hall was completed in 1937 to rival the already established Olympia Exhibition Hall to the North. The Chocolate and Confectionary Exhibition of 1937 was the first exhibition to be held in the hall and since then, Earls Court has become established as one of London’s premier exhibition and conference spaces.

In response to a greater need for exhibition space in the capital, Earls Court 2 was constructed and opened in 1991. The new centre can accommodate the equivalent of four jumbo jets and is often used for motor shows and the yacht show.

Stamford Bridge is the home stadium of the English Premiership team Chelsea Football Club. It is located about one mile from the Earls Court underground station and is an easy walk from many of the hotels in Earls Court. Chelsea’s recent financial and footballing successes have increased the competition for match tickets but the quality of football at Stamford Bridge is arguably some of the best in the world.
