This hotel blends a Victorian townhouse exterior with a simple but attractive modern interior and friendly service to provide a good, cost-effective base in Kensington.
The Comfort Inn Kensington Hotel occupies a converted townhouse, with an attractively decorated white façade and flags flying over the entrance. The small but well-lit lobby features neutral décor, with a marble floor, light wood furnishings and lots of potted plants. Also small, the 125 guestrooms are decorated in a similarly understated style, which contrasts well with the cheerful red and yellow striped fabrics. All are clean and decently maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. Situated on the ground floor next to the bar area, the restaurant has large windows, which ensure a light airy atmosphere in which to enjoy mainly traditional English dishes.
