The London Town Hotel occupies a converted Victorian Townhouse, built around 1877. Though not especially up to date, the interior décor is cosy, with the narrow lobby leading directly to the 30 guestrooms. A compact lounge area with an Internet terminal available is located on the first floor, together with a bar and seating area for guests to relax. The guestrooms themselves are simply appointed, with cream and beige colour schemes, complemented by floral bed covers and pine-effect furniture. All are clean and adequately maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel is comfortable in every season and is centrally heated throughout. A Continental breakfast is served in the breakfast room and a full English breakfast is available, on request, at an extra charge. Overall, this is very much a typical Bed & Breakfast-style property and is very flexible in its arrangements for families.
