Asked for high floor got ground floor. Asked for explanation on working of AC due to problems. Told by girl on reception that "AC does not work in that room". Stated that the AC was a contributing factor in choosing hotel. Reply was "the AC does not work in the room". Eventually a young man took over and offered to show us a different room/rooms. He showed us one highter up and demonstrated that the AC worked albeit noisily. As HE was cureous we accepted that one. Continental breakfast was watered down juice, one type of "rubber" vacumn packed cheese and one type of plastic ham. Cooked breakfast looked like it had been there on the warmer all night. Convenient for tube and albert hall etc. but so are a lot of others. Rooms small and AC in room will either not work or be noisy.

If you have a good appitite for breakfast go to a local cafe.

Hotel and room were clean and as expected for this class of hotel. Everything worked as advertised and whilst some areas were a little tired the hotel was value for money. Breakfast was good and included and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful.

Top Tip

Easy access from Earls Court undergraound station (5 mins walk). We stayed to attend a concert at the Royal Alberty Hall which is walkable or there is easy access to buses.

We only stayed for one night, all I ask from a hotel is that it is clean and that I can get a quiet nights sleep and it certainly delivered on both accounts. We chose this hotel to be close to the Alberthall, it is only one stop away the nearest tube station being Earls Court which is in walking distance.

Receptionist was very helpful and gave us a room to the rear of the building, away from the main road. Next time we will go for twin beds as the double was a bit too narrow. Although, to be fair, I am six feet two inches tall and weigh fifteen stone. All staff were very polite. we upgraded from continental breakfast to full English and the hotel charged only three british pounds each. Food in the hotel is very well priced and good quality. This was a positive experience and we will be using justonehotel.com again.

Top Tip

Turn left outside of the hotel and walk to the first set of traffic lights, a two minute walk, then turn right . The road has many restaurants, from chinese to French to English to Amercian etc etc etc. Many types of food from sitdown to take away. We tried a restaurant called Morish. The food was lovely, tastey and made from fresh produce. Considering it was a London restaurant a three course meal for two people, including service charge and drinks (non alcoholic) came to 40 british Pounds exactly. The following morning, in the hotel, we upgraded from continental breakfast to full English and the hotel charged only three british pounds each. Food in the hotel is very well priced and good quality.
