Garden View hotel
The hotel is located in Earls Court, just 200 metres from Earl's Court Exhibition Centre and an equal distance from Earl's Court underground station, which offers easy access to the shops and theares of London's West End.

Garden View hotel
The Garden View Hotel is housed in a period building with a red brick façade, which blends in well with the upmarket look of this residential square. Though compact and narrow, the lobby adjoins a pleasant lounge area furnished with comfortable, leather-upholstered seats. Varying in size from small to medium, the 61 guestrooms feature fairly plain décor, which contrasts pleasantly with the striped bedding and patterned curtains. They are decently maintained, as are the tiled, en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a Continental every morning in its welcoming breakfast room, which, though situated on the lower ground floor, is bright and welcoming, thanks to light wood fittings and full length windows.

Comment
room was small, bed was small, shower stall was small. room was clean overall though, and hotel was located within a couple blocks of Earls Court tube station and nearby restaurants, which was a plus. They gave me a room on the street noise side of the hotel, making it difficult to sleep with the window open (needed window open for ventilation/fresher air in room). The staff failed to give me a phone message from my wife. The breakfast items available were not appealing for the 2 mornings I attempted to eat breakfast, and the orange juice container was empty. I ended up eating breakfast elsewhere. I noticed similar hotels in area that may have been a better choice (although may cost a few pounds more?). Would be difficult to recommend this hotel to others, although I didn't really have a bad experience here.
Top Tip
O'Neils(?) pub was good for fish/chips and a pint.
