Overlooking the lush greenery of its own private garden, the K+K George Hotel is housed in an imposing Victorian terraced building with a pale yellow façade, which stands in a quiet residential street in the Royal Borough of Kensington. The hotel’s traditional outward appearance belies the high-tech, postmodernist décor of its interior. The medium sized lobby is attractively appointed in light, sunny tones and has a marble floor. Also medium sized but decorated in a more soothing, neutral style, the 154 guestrooms are enhanced by cane furniture and thick down duvets. All the rooms are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a full English buffet breakfast every morning in its pale cream dining room on the ground floor, which has full-length windows offering views of the lovely garden.
