The Mowbray Court Hotel is housed in a traditional, converted Victorian building. It is a tourist class economy property with 75 guestrooms, the majority of which have full en suite facilities. The lobby is long and narrow, with a recessed reception area, but adjoins a television lounge and a well-stocked bar: the perfect place to meet friends and enjoy a quiet drink. All the guestrooms are brightly decorated, well furnished and feature hair dryers, safes, trouser presses, direct dial telephones and colour televisions, all of which offer satellite television channels. Though some of the rooms could benefit from a little refurbishment, they are maintained in decent condition. The hotel offers a generous hot and cold buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the lower ground floor and consists on a smoking and no smoking area.
