My Place hotel
The hotel is located in the Knightsbridge area of London, just 250 metres from Earl's Court exhibition centre and right next to Earl's Court underground station, which offers easy access to many of the city's other sights.

My Place hotel
The My Place Hotel occupies a converted Victorian townhouse on a quiet residential street, with easy access to shops, restaurants, bars and transport. The small but cosy lobby features a lift to the left of the reception desk and corridor leading on the restaurant and bar. Each of the 50 guestrooms has been tastefully decorated in period style. There is a good selection of single, double, twin and family rooms to choose from. All are clean and decently maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. Breakfast and other meals are served in the restaurant, which is decorated in a similar style to the rest of the hotel. Outdoor dining is available in the garden during the summer months.

Comment
Was quite impressed on arrival but opinion changed on stepping onto our floor out of the lift and then into the room. It was in desperate need of decoration and the bathroom was not clean for hotel standards.
The choice of cereal on the continental breakfast was very poor (only muesli). The staff can speak some English but when I asked one girl if they had additional choices of cereal she didn't understand me!
Top Tip
Earls court High Street, underground and Arena are a few minutes walk away.

Traveller from Ashford stayed in July,2008
Comment
The rooms were pretty basic but all that we required was a place to rest our heads and be free to explore the local area which was exactly what we got.The staff were friendly and attentive and always there for you Eva and the other girls on reception were very helpful if we needed any travelling advice and Colin one of the owners was always trying to get us involved in any activities that the hotel provided i.e club nights or garden parties. The only things that I feel the hotel lacked were a licensed bar upstairs and restaurant facilities for the evening, but we'd definately stay there again and are thinking of booking a couple of nights in November later this year.
Top Tip
Plenty of things to do such as Museums,Royal Albert Hall, loads of restaurants for evening meals, local pubs, cafe bars, patiserries, and if you fancy a trip into London West end then the Earls Court tube station is only 1min away
